Dr. Agsten and his wife, Nancy, have seven children, Robert, Nancy Joe, Jay, Sarah, Maggie, Jennifer and Mariah. Mrs. Agsten is the office manager at Lenoir Family Medicine. The family attends St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
