Lenoir Surgical
Dr. Todd Tanner was recruited by Lenoir Memorial in 2010 to staff the hospital-owed practice in an effort to address a growing need in the community for additional general surgical services. In 2012 Dr. Wayne Jarman joined the Lenoir Surgical practice. If you need a surgical consult, please call the office at 252-775-5999 to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. We try to adhere to our appointment schedule and respect your time. We appreciate your patience if we are late due to emergencies or surgeries. We make every effort to be responsible when it comes to the costs associated with medical care. Therefore, we request payment for all office services at the time they are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept, checks, cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. If we are a participating provider of your insurance company, we will bill them and request your co-payments. However, payment is the patient’s responsibility. We’ll assist in any way we can to help you in handling claims. We accept most major insurance plans including but not inclusive: Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, Atlantic Integrated Health, BCBS, Cigna, Medcost, Tri-Care, and Workers Compensation.

Prescription Renewals
Please attempt to make all requests for prescriptions and authorizations for renewals at the time of your visit. Otherwise we ask that you contact the office between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, when our full records are available.
About Todd Tanner, MD and Wayne Jarman, MD
Dr. Tanner received his undergraduate degree from NC State University and his medical degree from UNC Chapel Hill. Tanner and his wife Sherry and son Jude moved to Kinston from Williamston, NC. He has been serving the patients of Eastern NC since 1998. He and his family have close ties to Kinston and are looking forward to being involved in the community. Jarman and his wife, Paula, who is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, have two sons, Jason and Jonathon. They attend Faith Fellowship Church. He sat for his recertification exam with the American Board of Surgery in December 2011 and was recertified.

Geriatric Physician Opens Office
Dr. Mobolanle Gbadamosi has opened an internal medicine/geriatric medical practice, Kinston Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, at 2508 N. Queen Street. The office may be reached at 252-208-1965. Geriatrics is an area of medicine dealing with elderly patients. The main goals of geriatrics are to promote the health of the elderly and to prevent and treat diseases they may encounter. Lenoir Memorial welcomes Dr. Gbadamosi and the new specialty she brings to our community.

Back in November, Lenoir Memorial opened its second hospital-owned clinic, Lenoir Surgical, which is located in the old Kinston Surgical Associates offices.
